WWE Smackdown rating: Did the return of Big Show and the followup to the Raw walkout help the rating?

Friday's WWE Smackdown drew a 2.02 rating, which is up from the 1.95 the show did the previous week. The show averaged roughly three million viewers.
Powell's POV: WWE has done a better job of promoting the Smackdown show within Raw lately, and they're starting to see the results in the rating. The show held up well despite competition from the Major League Baseball playoffs, which attracted roughly 8.3 million viewers that night.
