Dot Net Exclusive notes: Brian Kendrick, Paul London, Joey Styles
Jul 2, 2008 - 10:00 AM |
-Brian Kendrick is said to be held in higher regard by most WWE agents/producers than former tag partner Paul London. Observers say he has a better approach and attitude than London, who is considered an inconsistent performer and a "heat magnet" behind the scenes.
-Joey Styles's stock has been on the rise ever since he was reassigned to the WWE website team. He's said to be very happy with his WWE website job. He spends a lot of time with Vince McMahon in meetings and on the corporate jet, and they often sit next to one another backstage during the television tapings. "He's like a management trainee," noted one source.
Powell's POV: I was surprised to hear that Kendrick is held in higher regard than London. I've been told by former writers that London has "it" and they've compared his ability to that of Shawn Michaels. Even his backers admit that he tends to get distracted easily, which might have something to do with how the producers/agents feel about him.
Don't feel bad for Joey. Sure, being replaced by Mike Adamle had to suck, but he's making the most of his new assignment. The speculation among people in the know is that he will receive a promotion and a new title sooner rather than later.
