WWE News: Released wrestler returning to the company
Jun 16, 2011 - 09:05 AM |
Trevor Murdoch is heading back to work for WWE. Pitch.com is reporting that Murdoch will make the announcement of his WWE return at Friday's Metro Pro Wrestling show in Kansas City. "I've been doing this since I was 18 years old," Murdoch told Pitch.com.
"So I'm at an age where when I went to WWE the first time, I was 25 years old, and I'm really excited that I'm still at a young enough age that I'm going to be able to go back and do some good things on TV. My [5-year-old] son is now old enough to see me and understand that daddy is on TV, and he loves pro wrestling. So I'm fired up to be able to get back to working on TV again for sure." To read a full interview with Murdoch, visit Pitch..com.
Powell's POV: Murdoch spoke about his recent WWE dark matches with Evan Bourne and Jey Uso, whether he knows what the company has planned for him creatively, and his goal in returning to WWE. Plus, there's plenty of details about Friday's Metro Pro Wrestling event at the Turner Rec Center.
