Jeff Hardy comments on serving a 60-day suspension, losing his home in a fire
Jun 21, 2008 - 12:00 PM

Jeff Hardy issued rare comments regarding the 60-day suspension he served for violating the Wellness Policy, and losing his home in a fire back in March. "I made two mistakes, the last one really bad," Hardy tells the Winnipeg Sun. "I lost my championship, my house, my dog, and my chance to be in WrestleMania. "And it all kind of happened in the same week.

"Part of me was, 'Oh God, I don't want to be seen again. But I knew I had to come back and live for everything that I'd lost. But I'm back with a new outlook. Fortunately, I had Matt. I had nowhere to go and he was there for me. We've moved on. We're rebuilding in the same area... it's a seven- or eight-month process." To read the full story, visit WinnipegSun.com.

Powell’s POV: Hardy also noted that he would prefer to stay on Raw when the draft rolls around on Monday. He also discussed toning down his style now that he's turned 30. It's a good interview and it great to hear that Jeff recognizes the need to slow things down and not take as many crazy bumps as he did when he was younger.
