WWE Raw rating: Did the extra hype for Vince McMahon's giveaway help?

WWE drew a 3.3 rating for Monday's Raw. The rating is up from the 3.0 the show drew last week.
Powell's POV: The first hour rating was a 3.34 and featured 5,214,000 viewers, while the second hour dropped to a 3.27 with 5,204,000 viewers. It's rare for a Raw show to draw a better rating in the first hour. Perhaps the lack of wrestling in the first hour combined with the repetitive giveaway segments had something to do with that.
