WWE News: Undertaker and Triple H fined by the company for an incident in their WrestleMania 27 match
Apr 5, 2011 - 11:11 PM |
By Jason Powell
WWE announced on their corporate website that Triple H and Undertaker were fined for violating the company's policy regarding a chair shot to the head during their WrestleMania 27 match. You can read the announcement at Corporate.WWE.com.
Powell's POV: I didn't make a big deal about it when I watched the move live because it appeared that Taker blocked the shot with his hand. However, it appears WWE officials felt otherwise. Good for them for doing the right thing if they determined otherwise. It would be a better move to disclose what the actual fine is. The story notes that WWE punishes talent for this violation via "fine and/or suspension," but the headline of the statement shows that both men were fined.
