Dot Net reader Matt H. from Atlanta, Ga. attended the Twins vs. Braves exhibition game on Tuesday and passed along the following report.
I went to the Twins vs. Braves exhibition game and Melina, John Morrison, Mark Henry, and Eve Torres signed autographs for an hour in the Turner Field plaza.
Henry threw out the ceremonial first pitch, Morrison was honorary team captain as lineups were exchanged at home plate. The Divas led off the game with "Play Ball!" WrestleMania Axxess tickets and WWE prize packs were also awarded during the in-game promotions.
Powell's POV: It's a shame the Braves didn't fly in Kent Hrbek to see if he could recreate the controversial play in the 1991 World Series when he "allegedly" pushed Ron Gant off first base. Only this time, Henry could have filled in for Gant. My apologies for even bringing it up, Braves fans.
