WWE Smackdown lead writer Michael Hayes returns to work
Jun 12, 2008 - 04:38 PM |
Michael Hayes is back on the job for WWE after serving a 60-day suspension related to using racial slurs, according to PWInsider.com. He spoke to WWE developmental wrestlers on Monday and then attended the Florida Championship Wrestling house show on Tuesday night. He is expected to return to work on a full-time basis on June 23.
Powell's POV: Most people felt it was only a matter of time before Hayes returned to work, as the feeling among most WWE sources has been all along that the company would not fire him. One can only hope that he learned a lesson in all of this and realizes that his past behavior and comments are not acceptable in the corporate environment.
This original source for the above news was Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.
