"In some ways it highlighted the problems of the company," said a source who felt that Vince showed how out of touch he is. "I felt bad for him. Vince has stated to creative team members in the past that he'd rather watch paint dry than watch Haas, so the idea of the two of them appearing on camera together was meant to be a joke. He looked old, couldn't dial a phone, and didn't seem prepared to host the giveaway segments.
