Former WWE wrestler MVP in Japan, comments on the earthquake that rocked the country
Mar 11, 2011 - 09:16 AM |
Former WWE wrestler MVP has been providing updates on the magnitude 8.9 earthquake that rocked Japan on Friday. "On the 19th floor of Tokyo Dome hotel," MVP wrote. "It's swaying noticeably atm but just another way less severe aftershock. Stand still traffic outside."
After several additional updates, MVP wrote: "Airport? Call me crazy but I'm not going home until they send me home. It'll take more than a disaster to derail my dreams. I love Japan. The Japanese people are very strong. They will mourn and grieve and then bounce back. I will entertain them as long as they'll have me." To read more from MVP, visit Twitter.com/The305MVP.
Powell's POV: MVP has been tweeting frequently since the earthquake, which has reportedly taken hundreds of lives. Our prayers go out to everyone affected by the tragedy, as well as those who are no dealing with the threat of a potential Tsunami.
