Dot Net reader Judy Stephenson is at the WWE Smackdown taping in Houston, Texas and is passing along the results of the WWE NXT taping.

1. Shelton Benjamin defeated Curt Hawkins. The arena is about half full.

WWE NXT Taping

Matt Striker came out to little reaction. Maryse came out to a good reaction, as well as William Regal. They are calling the show "NXT Redemption."

There are no new rookies among the cast, which features Darren Young (w/Chavo Guerrero), Lucky Cannon (Tyson Kidd), Titus O'Neil (Hornswoggle), Connor O'Brian (Vladimir Kozlov), Byron Saxton (Yoshi Tatsu), and Jacob Novack (JTG).

Next to Maryse, Hornswoggle has received the biggest pop so far. Sad.

1. Darren Young defeated Jacob Novack.

The arena is filling a little. It is raining here, so maybe they will catch a break. Maryse and Yoshi did a skit while they set up the obstacle course. A Rock and John Cena recap video was shown. The crowd went nuts for the Rock video. The crowd was somewhat quiet for the Cena and Miz part of the video.

A Connor O'Brian vignette was shown, and then a commercial for The Chaperone. More people continue to file into the building. They played a Snooki commercial.

There was a boot camp obstacle course for three points. Darren Young won in 23 seconds. Lucky Cannon refused to participate. The ring crew is moving the wall from the obstacle course.

A Triple H and Undertaker video was shown. The crowd came to life. Thankfully, Hornswoggle was replaced.

2. Titus O'Neil defeated Lucky Cannon. My sister said it looked as if Cannon was wearing a Walmart version of Ric Flair's robe. This concluded the show, as they are setting up for WWE Superstars.
