WWE News: WWE television deal extended five years
Feb 2, 2011 - 10:00 AM |
WWE issued a press release to announce that the company has extended its relationship with J Sports Broadcasting Corporation in Japan for five more years. J Sports will continue to have exclusive pay-per-view broadcast rights and will air six first-run hours of WWE programming. To read the press release, visit SunHerald.com.
Powell's POV: The programming deal includes Raw, Smackdown, NXT, and WWE Superstars. One can only hope that NXT will be replaced by Tough Enough starting in April, as the idea of five more years of NXT programming is more disturbing than Charlie Sheen rehabbing at home.
