John Cena discusses the WWE draft, Michelle McCool's claim to fame in the locker room revealed on FSN's "Best Damn Sports Show Period"
Jun 4, 2008 - 09:48 AM

John Cena discussed the WWE draft lottery while serving as a guest host on Tuesday's "Best Damn Sports Show Period" on Fox Sports Network. "Instead of getting drafted it's like getting traded," Cena said. "You get a certain vibe and you hold a certain status in one locker room and then all of a sudden you get shipped to a different locker room with a whole new list of guys."

Michelle McCool joined the show and discussed how she got involved in WWE. She said she fell in love with Dusty Rhodes when she was six year-old. She said she was dared to try out for the Diva Search contest and did it on a dare.

"I think I was the only one at the casting call without an agent," she said. "I'm here leaving a dream." She discussed her background as a teacher, and Cena pointed out that she is only wrestler in the WWE locker room with a master's degree (educational leadership). McCool said she's broken her nose, her sternum, and fractured two ribs during his wrestling career.

Powell's POV: Cena was on the set for the entire show and talked plenty of mainstream sports with the regular hosts. A clip was shown of Cena's embarrassing attempt to throw out the first pitch at a Red Sox game. He also hyped the million dollar giveaway, and McCool hyped the Cousin Sal and Jimmy Kimmel appearances for Friday Smackdown. Cena and McCool both came off very well.
