WWE News: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Triple H, and WWE sued by a fan
Jan 6, 2011 - 10:00 AM |
World Wrestling Entertainment, Dwayne Johnson, and Triple H are specifically named in a lawsuit filed by Ronald Basham III, who alleges that his right leg and knee were injured during the Judgment Day 2000 pay-per-view.
He claims the injury occurred when the wrestlers collided with an audience member, who was allegedly shoved into Basham. To read more on the story, visit Courier-Journal.com. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Joel Z]
Powell's POV: Basham's attorney claims the lawsuit was not prohibited at the time because his client was only seven. Now that he's 18 and there's not a statute of limitations, they opted to file the lawsuit. WWE officials declined to comment on pending litigation.
