WWE TLC pay-per-view lineup (spoiler info): Six matches advertised for the final WWE pay-per-view of 2010, spoiler regarding the title match change included
Dec 15, 2010 - 01:00 PM

The following matches are advertised for the WWE TLC pay-per-view, which takes place Sunday night in Houston, Texas.

-Kane vs. Edge vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Alberto Del Rio in a TLC match for the World Hvt. Championship.

-The Miz vs. Randy Orton in a tables match for the WWE Championship.

-John Cena vs. Wade Barrett in a chairs match.

-Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger in a Triple Threat ladder match for the Intercontinental Title.

-John Morrison vs. Sheamus in a ladder match to become No. 1 contender to the WWE Championship.

-Natalya and Beth Phoenix vs. Michelle McCool and Layla in a tag team tables match.

Powell's POV: This show has potential on paper. The No. 1 contenders match could telegraph the finish of the WWE Championship match if John Morrison goes over. I like the idea of Morrison winning, though, as it would set him up with a match against The Miz at the Royal Rumble. That's not a pay-per-view selling main event match, but it works nicely on the Rumble card since the Rumble match sells that pay-per-view.

For those who missed it earlier, WWE added Mysterio and Del Rio to the title match at the Smackdown tapings. I'm usually not a fan of three-way and four-way matches, but it's a logical move in this case and has me more excited about the main even than I was before the switch. Given the change, it appears there is room for another match to be added to the lineup. I vote for something involving Daniel Bryan and the U.S. Title.
