Powell's POV: It's a shame that nothing more is planned for Ross at this time. Barry is the current voice of Oklahoma Sooners football, and he announced previously that he will be retiring at the end of the year. Ross has coveted that job for a long time and he has connections within the university. Whether that will be enough remains to be seen.
