WWE News
WWE Smackdown debut on MyNetwork TV announced
May 19, 2008 - 02:25 PM

WWE Smackdown will air for the first time on MyNetwork TV on Oct. 3, according to TV Week. The article also notes that a one-hour WrestleMania special featuring highlights of the fight between Big Show and Floyd Mayweather, plus appearances by Snoop Dogg and John Legend will be featured. To read the article, visit TVWeek.com. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Sergio Ibarra]

Powell’s POV: In case you're wondering, WWE has a pay-per-view scheduled that weekend, so they could miss out on a chance to offer final hype for the Unforgiven show if viewers fail to make the switch. WWE has always done a good job advertising their network switches, so that probably won't be an issue.
