WWE hiring over 100 employees to gear up for the WWE Network in 2011
Oct 21, 2010 - 10:47 AM |
WWE announced on their website on Monday that they are hiring between 100 and 140 new employees to prepare for the launch of the WWE Network. James Caldwell of PWTorch.com noted on Monday that WWE Spokesman Robert Zimmerman stated recently that the company has hired 55 workers in 2010. He also pointed out that the "overwhelming majority" of the new hires were in Connecticut.
Powell's POV: Obviously, Zimmerman was quick to point out the Connecticut hires due to Linda McMahon's bid for the U.S. Senate. Vince McMahon stated in a conference call recently that the company is planning to open talks with cable companies regarding the WWE Network in January 2011.
