WWE addresses the injury that will sideline Evan Bourne up to four months
Oct 18, 2010 - 04:37 PM |
The WWE website is reporting that Evan Bourne suffered a torn rotator cuff that will require surgery. He will be out of action up to four months.
Powell's POV: The news has been out for a while and Bourne has even mentioned it on his own Twitter page, but the WWE website is playing into the injury angle that took place on last week's Raw by saying it occurred when C.M. Punk attacked him after their match on Raw. In truth, WWE officials knew going into the match that Bourne was headed for surgery. I don't blame them for going with the injury angle, though, as it puts heat on Punk and gives Bourne a storyline upon his return.
