WWE News: Jim Ross to undergo surgery on Monday, not scheduled to appear at the live edition of WWE Smackdown on Friday
Sep 29, 2010 - 09:22 AM |
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross posted a note on his Twitter page on Tuesday to state that he will be undergoing surgery on Monday to have a stent inserted into one of the arteries in his heart on Monday.
"I'm going to be fine," Ross wrote. "I'm very positive and will remain such. My overall health is better than it has been in years... No, my heart stent wasn't expected, but no hill for a stepper. Short hospital stay if all goes well Monday and it will." To read more from Ross, visit Twitter.com/JRsBBQ.
Powell's POV: Ross also noted that he will be at the Oklahoma football game on Saturday and the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on Sunday, but he is not scheduled to appear on the live edition of Smackdown. Normally, I would bitch about the decision to not book Raw for Smackdown when the show is taking place in Oklahoma City, but I'm more concerned about the guy's health. Here's wishing him the best with this procedure and a quick recovery.
