WWE official confirms that Matt Hardy was pulled from two live events
Sep 14, 2010 - 12:01 PM |
A WWE spokesperson confirmed that Matt Hardy was pulled from a live event in White Plains, N.Y. recently, as well as Sunday's live event in Europe. The spokesman told Alfonso Castillo of Newsday.com that Hardy "was pulled off the card" but would not comment "as to why." To read Castillo's full story, visit Newsday.com.
Powell's POV: The Newsday site is a premium page these days, so you will need to sign up for a Newsday membership to read the full story. Alfonso pointed out that there seemed to be something off with Hardy in the online video he posted, just as many people have observed. He did leave the door open for the possibility that he was simply tired on the final day of the European tour, yet also notes that there are other indications that WWE should be concerned about his behavior. It's a fair assessment given Hardy's recent online exploits.
