Hermanstyne's WWE Superstars Hitlist: Comedy tag team match, The Dudebusters owns Chris Masters, MVP vs. Chavo Guerrero, Overall show

WWE Superstars Hits

MVP vs. Chavo Guerrero Unanimously, this was the best match of the night. They got fifteen minutes out of two veterans and it made up for the throwaway, two minute match we got on Smackdown a couple of weeks ago. Because the match was quality, it only warrants as a borderline hit. MVP in the undercard on Smackdown has to be one of the most disappointing storylines in WWE. As I mentioned in my report, I don't know if he's in the doghouse, but it's pretty pathetic that he's faced just about every undercard performer and wasn't even featured in the MITB match. MVP looks more chocolate wasted than ever on Smackdown then his two years on Raw and I want some answers, ASAP.

WWE Superstars Misses

Comedy Tag Match: This match is a minor miss, but the comedy has to ease up a little because the bit is getting old. I was shocked and appalled that they gave this match twelve minutes and face it; Santino has lost his luster as far as being funny. This comedy crap should be left on Raw not brought over to the "Throwaway Power Hour" on Thursday nights, as it's bad enough that hardly anyone watches this show. William Regal is another performer that should be getting some kind of push but he's buried on Raw roster and has to be reduced to Santino's cobra move?

Caylen Croft vs. Chris Masters: This match proves why I despise the Dudebusters as a team. Their actions are corny and they produce bland ass matches. They are trying so hard to get this team over, but it's not working. WWE has no tag division to take seriously, so why do these guys wrestle singles matches and have nothing to show for it? Additionally, you make the self-proclaimed "Masterpiece" look so damn weak by jobbing out to guys who are lanky and loses with chop blocks and a DDT? Give me a break.

Rey Mysterio video package: Rey was just the World Hvt. Champion, so why was he featured in this video? Shore and I have always had an issue with main eventers taking filler time on Superstars when they should be featuring one of the younger performers. Feature The Miz because he's Mr. MITB on Raw or Dolph Ziggler since he's getting a push on Smackdown instead of the underdog, transitional world champion.

Overall Show: This wasn't THE absolute worst episode of Superstars (because I've seen worse) and because I usually get above average shows when I cover the show. It's hard to take the show seriously when you virtually have no star power. Because it is Superstars, I would like the four match format unless you put an REAL main eventer on the show, then we can deal with three matches. The closest thing to the main event on Superstars recently was Chris Jericho and that is probably the best we are going to get from this show.
