Now that the word is out regarding Smackdown lead writer Michael Hayes's 60-day suspension for using a racial slur, others within the company are approaching management officials with claims regarding similar incidents involving Hayes. "I'm sure some will be bullshit and just people looking to deliver receipts," said a well-placed source. "Others, well, unfortunately will be valid claims."

The source notes that one of the incidents involves Hayes using a derogatory word and a stereotypical Indian voice to mock Raw writer Dave Kapoor, who worked on the air as Great Khali's translator Ranjin Singh. Although Kapoor isn't the person complaining about the incident, the source alleges that witnesses to the incident include agents, writers, and even members of the McMahon family.

Powell's POV: This is just another example of how WWE officials took way too long to address this issue. They've definitely left themselves open to a possible lawsuit. I don't know if current or former employees (or independent contractors) of the company have decided to take it that far, but the McMahons have no one to blame but themselves for allowing this to go on as long as it did.
