Major WWE News: WWE releases Shelton Benjamin, Mickie James, and other wrestlers

WWE has released Shelton Benjamin, Mickie James, Slam Master J, Kung Fu Naki, and Jimmy Wang Yang. You can check out the official notice at WWE.com.
Powell's POV: I'm surprised by the Shelton and James releases to some extent. Mickie was has had some issues behind the scenes with other wrestlers and was said to have been problematic on the overseas tour.
Update: WWE also released Katie Lea Burchill and Mike Knox on Thursday.
