WWE News: Interesting note regarding Edge and cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase
Apr 3, 2010 - 04:41 PM

Since WWE started the Money in the Bank concept at WrestleMania 21, Edge has been directly or indirectly involved in the title shot being cashed in every time. Here is a list of every time the briefcase has been cashed in and how Edge was involved.

1st: Edge cashes in on John Cena.
2nd: Edge spears Cena through a table, allowing Rob Van Dam to win.
3rd: Edge cashes in on Undertaker.
4th: C.M. Punk cashes in on Edge.
5th: Punk cashes in on Jeff Hardy after his ladder match with Edge.
6th: Jack Swagger cashes in on Chris Jericho after a spear from Edge.

[Thank you to Nels Nelson].

Twill's Two Cents: Very interesting statistics. I wonder if WWE will realize this and try to tie it in to future MITB winners cashing in. In addition to this list, Edge was involved in the one man winning the briefcase and not winning the title. Edge defeated Mr. Kennedy his briefcase before successfully cashing it in himself.
