Howard, of course, ripped into them because he thought they sounded forced, desperate, and it was obviously written for them. Stern compared the candidates to students running for "class president," saying whatever they need to say to different groups. Howard then said he hoped none of them really watch wrestling because he won't vote for a president that watches wrestling. They then started kidding that McCain would make King Kong Bundy "The Secretary Of Defense" and "Hacksaw Jim Duggan" the "Attorney General" in hopes to get votes. -The story of the Presidential candidates appearing Raw has been picked up by most major news outlets in the United States. FOX News, Yahoo, AOL, and the AP have all picked up the story. It's also making news overseas, as Dot Net reader Danny Eley reports that Sky.com and The Guardian are among the UK sites running stories on their appearances.
