Major League Baseball umpire Larry Young very positively recalls his refereeing experience at WrestleMania 11
Mar 17, 2010 - 01:31 PM |
Major League Baseball umpire Larry Young refereed the match between Undertaker and King Kong Bundy at WrestleMania 11, and unlike other celebrities that came before and after him, he took the gig very seriously and was honored to be there.
"I don't even consider myself a celebrity, but I had a real respect for the business. I think a lot of people were just there because of their status, but I really wanted to be there and be part of it." He also commented on being a lifelong wrestling fan, specifically naming Nick Bockwinkel and Verne Gagne as his favorites. To read the interview, click here.
Twill's Two Cents: Unexpectedly entertaining interview. It's always nice to see celebrities who truly appreciate wrestling and are glad to be there without some sort of agenda.
