Dot Net reader Greg Jackson passed along the following recap of Steve Austin and Freddie Prinze Jr.'s appearance on "Lopez Tonight." on TBS

Prior to the show, Freddie Prinze Jr. spoke briefly about his experiences when working with WWE for six months. He plugged the business well.

Lopez referred to Austin as one of the top wrestlers of all time and as a hall of famer.
They discussed when George brought Austin some Mexican food while he was in L.A. Austin has also started tweeting and made a joke about tweeting the refried beans.

They played a clip from his new movie "Damage" where Austin plays a street fighter and mentioned the part he has in Sly Stallone's new movie "The Expendables."

There was no mention made of his upcoming guest host role this Monday.

Austin was very down to earth as you'd expect in his interviews. Just funny that more wrestling talk occurred in the Prinze interview than during Austin's.

Powell's POV: It is odd that Austin never snuck in a plug for his appearance on WWE Raw. Obviously, though, he was there to promote his movie. I caught Prinze on one of the late night talk shows a while back and he had nothing but good things to say about his run with WWE. By the way, Prinze is doing a great job with his role on "24" this year for those who don't watch Jack Bauer save the world every Monday night.
