WWE released the cast member information for the NXT television show, which begins next Tuesday night on Syfy. The eight developmental wrestlers listed first followed by the names of their main roster mentors.

-Wade Barrett with Chris Jericho.

-Justin Gabriel with Matt Hardy.

-Skip Sheffield with MVP.

-Michael Tarver with Carlito.

-Daniel Bryan with The Miz.

-Heath Slater with Christian.

-Darren Young with C.M. Punk.

-David Otunga with R-Truth.

Powell's POV: Where's Kaval (a/k/a Low-Ki)? Here's hoping they've opted to call him up to the main roster and this isn't a case of him simply not making the cut. As I've reported numerous times, the idea of using Kaval as a masked opponent for Rey Mysterio has been pitched in the past, so perhaps the company will go in that direction instead. Another rumored wrestler who didn't make the cut is Joe Hennig, the son of the late Curt "Mr. Perfect" Hennig.

Daniel Bryan is former ROH Champion Bryan Danielson. It's fun to see him paired with Miz, as they have such contrasting personalities that it should make for good television and could lead to a quality feud. Meanwhile, Otunga is engaged to actress Jennifer Hudson. He was also a cast member on the VH1 reality show "I Love New York 2."
