Dot Net reader Tim Delong caught Dwayne Johnson's appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and passed along the following report.

Before he was brought out, Oprah showed some highlights of some of his previous movies. He received a standing ovation, naturally. He was billed as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Johnson talked about his early life and some goals that he had, like buying a house for his parents, marrying his then girlfriend Dani, and other goals which he accomplished all of them. Two pictures were shown - one with him, Dani, and their daughter and one with him and his daughter.

He was asked what team he was picking in the Super Bowl. He said he would like the Colts to win but there was something about the Saints (leaning towards the Saints?). He gave Oprah three tips because she's going to a Super Bowl party.

Johnson is shooting a new film called "Faster" on Monday. He said he loves comedy and family movies, but nothing is better than kicking butt.

Rock said the craziest thing a female fan did was show him a tattoo of his face on her thigh. Other things were notes left on his car and in his mailbox.

There was no mention made of his wrestling career. Overall it was a pretty good interview.

Powell's POV: Special thanks to Tim for watching Oprah so I didn't have to. Way to take one for the team, buddy! All joking aside, this is obviously a big appearance for Rock, as there's no denying Oprah's enormous popularity.
