Joe "Animal" Laurinaitis, one half of the legendary tag team, The Road Warriors (a/k/a The Legion of Doom) with Mike "Hawk" Hegstrand, has penned a book alongside Andrew William Wright, chronicling the career of the duo. Their manager, "Precious" Paul Ellering, will write the forward.
"They snacked on danger, dined on death, and lived life on the edge. The Road Warriors: Danger, Death, and the Rush of Wrestling is the captivating true story of The Legion of Doom: The Road Warriors, presented by Joe “Animal” Laurinaitis. Alongside Mike “Hawk” Hegstrand, Laurinaitis stormed onto the wrestling scene. With a monstrous style and image like no other, the Road Warriors went on to become two of the most influential and celebrated wrestlers the world has ever known.
The book is scheduled for a March, 2011 release by Medallion Press. For additional ordering information, head over to hbfenn.com or ipgbook.com.
Twill's Two Cents: This should be a very interesting read. Even though I always preferred Demolition, I was always disappointed that the Road Warriors did not have more success in WWE. I also thought a Demolition vs. LOD match at WrestleMania VII could have been a huge money draw.
