WWE to benefit from tax breaks set up by the U.S. Senator that Linda McMaon hopes to replace
Feb 1, 2010 - 02:45 PM |
World Wrestling Entertainment expects to benefit from the federal tax law that was added to the U.S. government's bank bailout program. Oddly enough, the addition was inserted by outgoing U.S. Senator Chris Dodd, the person who currently holds the seat the Linda McMahon is vying for. The Journal Inquier reports that the company was handed nearly $3 million in state tax credits. For more on the story, visit JournalInquirer.com.
Powell's POV: There's nothing like seeing big corporations receiving multi-million dollar tax breaks. You really can't make it up. Thanks to Irvin Muchnick of Muchnick.net for passing along the story.
