WWE touts record breaking WrestleMania numbers

WWE announced that WrestleMania 29 was the highest grossing live event in company history and broke the record for MetLife Stadium's highest grossing entertainment event. WWE is listing 80,676 fans from 50 states and 34 countries were in attendance, and that the event grossed $12.3 million.

Powell's POV: It was a big homecoming for WWE and the McMahon family. WWE has been known to inflate attendance numbers at times, but the stadium event was sold out and obviously successful from a financial standpoint.
