WWE statement regarding fan attack on Randy Orton

WWE issued a statement to TMZ.com regarding the fan who attacked Randy Orton with a low blow during a live event in Cape Town, South Africa on Tuesday. "Randy was violently attacked from behind," the rep stated before adding that it was not part of the show and the fan is in police custody.

Powell's POV: The WWE website story states that the extent of Orton's injuries were unknown, though the video shows that he was able to walk over to the fan as he was being mobbed by security. Orton then went back to standing on the second rope and playing to the crowd, so here's hoping that the low blow didn't do any real damage.
