WWE star The Rock's movie "Snitch" opens today

The movie Snitch starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson opens in theaters today. Johnson stars as a father whose teenage son is wrongly accused of drug distribution crime and is looking at a mandatory ten year prison sentence. Johnson's character makes a deal with the U.S. attorney to work as an undercover informant to infiltrate a drug cartel.

Powell's POV: At last check, the movie had a 51 percent approval rating at Rottentomatoes.com. It's the first of several movies that Rock will be featured in over the next two months. Other upcoming Rock films include G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Fast & Furious 6, and Pain & Gain.
