WWE star Ryback (a/k/a Ryan Reeves) spoke with Nick Teodoro of NorthJersey.com about sitting out of WrestleMania 28. "Last year, I was sitting there watching in the stands as I was coming back from a big injury, and it was kind of still up in the air what we were going to do with [my character]," Reeves said.  "I was remaining positive, but I told myself last year ‘this was the last one that I’m sitting out [and] I’m going to be a part of the rest of them.’ It was such a horrible feeling not being a part of it."

Reeves also spoke about his WrestleMania 29 match. "You’re going to see two monsters going out there and it’s going to be a match unlike any other match on the card," he said. "I think at the end of the day it’s going to be a match people remember; Ryback lifting Mark Henry over his head Shell Shocking him and 70,000 plus screaming at the top of their lungs ‘Feed Me More’ with me." Powell's POV: Ryback also spoke about the origin of his name and the "dopey" Skip Sheffield name he previously used. He also spoke about what match made him want to be a wrestler and which wrestlers he enjoyed when he was younger. The story also notes that he will be at WrestleMania Axxess at the Izod Center on April 6.
