WWE's trip to China and future aspirations featured on ABC Nightline

Dot Net reader Thaddaus Perkins watched the "ABC Nightline" feature on WWE that aired on Tuesday night and passed along the following report.

I stayed up and caught the news last night and WWE was featured on "Sign Of The Times" last night. It was a run down on how they wanted to expand to China and get the WWE more exposure. Some of the footage that was shown was the same that was played throughout the week they returned. A lot of different shots of the fans and action in the ring.

The reporter rode along with Big Show and Rey Mysterio and compared hand sizes. Rey showed her how some of them work out. She couldn't even do it. In another hilarious bit, she asked Chris Jericho for some trash talking tips and he ripped into her fake English accent. She played him off a hand shake at the end. You could really tell she enjoyed herself and even got some of the crowd to get in on a chant with her. A little fluffer for WWE if you're into that kinda thing.

Powell's POV: The footage was taken from WWE's first and only appearance in China that occurred last month. Obviously, it would be a major coup for the company if they could hold an actual tour of China at some point.
