-Vince McMahon stated during Friday's meeting with the shareholders that the annual Tribute to the Troops show will most likely move from USA Network to NBC. He said the show is more important in some ways than WrestleMania simply because it's the right thing to do.

-Vince also stated that he wants to continue holding WrestleMania in bigger venues (stadiums). He said that will exclude some markets. He stated that New York is the one market they would consider holding future WrestleMania events in that does not have a viable stadium. He openly wished that someone would build a stadium with a roof in the New York area.

-A one-hour WrestleMania special will air on MyNetwork TV to kickoff WWE's jump to the network. Vince said the special won't feature much commentary, but will instead feature the matches set to music. You can watch the entire shareholders meeting by clicking here.

Powell's POV: The switch from USA Network to NBC is a great move for the company. The tribute show is generally very well done and should get the company some positive media attention if it airs on network television.

As for the stadium issue, I guess that eliminates Chicago from the mix since they don't have a stadium with a retractable roof and the Midwest weather is too questionable in late March/early April.
