WWE's Jonathan Coachman hired by ESPN

Jonathan Coachman has been hired for an anchor position with ESPN, according to PWInsider.com. As noted over the weekend, his contract with WWE is slated to expire shortly.

Powell's POV: I think Coach will do well in his new role. He does solid work as a mainstream sports play-by-play broadcaster and I hear he does a nice job with his MSG Network assignments. He struggled as a broadcaster in WWE, but anchor work is quite different and one can only assume that he won't have to listen to a crazed lunatic screaming in his ear through the headsets at ESPN.
