Jim Ross updated the blog section of JRsbarbq.com. The following items are among the highlights.

-Ross on Owen Hart: "It’s hard to believe that Owen Hart would have been 43 years of age this week. Owen was one of the really good guys in the business. The youngest of Stu and Helen Hart’s children was funny, witty, an excellent wrestler, wasn’t a cry baby and never whined. Owen Hart was truly one of the really good guys I have ever met in any walk of life."

Powell's POV: Ross has a lot more to say about Owen in his blog. He said he couldn't recall Owen drinking, never heard of him using drugs, and said he stuck to his wedding vows. He also comments on the possibility of Owen being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

-Ross on the Legends of WrestleMania video game: "The Legends Video game that will be out in 2009 is an idea I love (we all love our own ideas) and I can’t wait to see how that one materializes. I am anxious to see it come together and be able to match the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, the Honkytonk Man, versus his cousin, Jerry "the King" Lawler…..two of the best in ring performers of any era.

Powell's POV: The game was J.R.'s idea? Great call. I think this will sell incredibly well for the company if the biggest stars are included.

-Ross on which wrestler should get the WWE MVP Award: I have no issues with Kobe Bryant being named MVP of the NBA, but who would get your vote for the MVP in the WWE thus far in 2008?

Powell's POV: Well, Jim, since you asked, I'd go with Shawn Michaels and it's not even close. He's been involved in the most memorable matches this year and he always delivers in the ring.

Other topics include The Rock, Cauliflower Alley Club, visiting the WWE developmental facility.
