WWE held a WrestleMania Symposium in Los Angeles on Saturday that was hosted by Jim Ross and featured a panel with Ric Flair, Steve Austin, Paul Heyman, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Mick Foley, and Dolph Ziggler. You can view the footage at http://www.twitch.tv/2k/c/2769500.

Powell's POV: Flair pretty much took things over around the 40-minute mark. Heyman, Mysterio, Bryan, and Ziggler were pretty quiet at this point. He claimed that The Rock and Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair, Randy Orton, and Batista stole WrestleMania 20. "Nobody could follow that thing," Flair said. "Do you think Goldberg could? Are you kidding me?"

Flair spoke about his son Reid dying. He said he put one of his WWE Hall of Fame rings inside the casket. Flair gave his Four Horsemen Hall of Fame ring to David Flair at the funeral. He said he went to NXT two months ago and Triple H presented him with a Hall of Fame ring that had Reid's name engraved on it.

Flair also noted that he is recording an interview with Steve Austin for the Steve Austin Podcast, which should be great. Although Flair taking over the press conference is getting a lot of attention today, there were some cool moments with the various performers discussing WrestleMania moments.

Ross also paid Heyman a big compliment regarding their work together at WrestleMania. Heyman also had a good list of three WrestleMania matches that hadn't occurred, which got Flair going again. Flair also got fired up as he spoke about being ready to wrestle at WrestleMania 30. He also spoke about Cena not drinking at one point and now drinking on road trips.

Flair also got on a roll about Bret Hart not wanting him to chop him. This came after Ross had asked for sound bytes since they were running short on time. Heyman got up and tore up some of Ross's prepared questions as a joke since they wouldn't have time. Flair was in party mode and Ross even admitted that he "lost complete control of my job" as the host. The live crowd was loving it and half the panel was cracking up over his antics while the other half looked uncomfortable. It's definitely worth going out of your way to watch. Ross summed it up well late in the event when he asked, "Can you imagine what the internet and the dirt sheets are going to say about this shit?"
