WWE personality Paul Heyman spoke with Brian Fritz of BetweenTheRopes.com at WWE Fan Axxess on Friday and spoke about why he returned to WWE. "Brock Lesnar came back and they put a microphone in his hand and he does not like to talk to people because Brock Lesnar does not like human beings," Heyman said. "Once they put a microphone in his hand he called me up and said, 'Cut a deal and get in here because I'm not going to do that again.'"

Heyman was also asked whether he was surprised that Lesnar returned. "Blown away by it," Heyman said. "Could not believe Brock would come back. And once he did come back, I could not believe that he would get me to come back with him... He's absolutely enjoying his time here. If Brock Lesnar wasn't enjoying his time here, Brock Lesnar would not be here."

Heyman on whether he's interested in working on WWE creative. "Oh, God, no," he said. "Oh, no, no, no. I got to work hand in hand with Vince McMahon and it became the story of Icarus flying too close to the sun. The sun doesn't want Icarus flying towards it and Icarus doesn't want to fly toward the sun. If they gave Icarus back his wings, I would fly towards Jupiter now. I've had my fill as a writer in this company. I don't think they would want me back as a writer in this company. I think I have lasted this long in the past year because I am not a writer in this company."

Powell's POV: Heyman also spoke about living vicariously through Lesnar, C.M. Punk working with Undertaker at WrestleMania 29, why the Paul Bearer angle hasn't gone too far, his relationship with Triple H, and much more. It's definitely worth taking the time to watch the nearly 11-minute interview.
