WWE released preliminary estimates of 280,000 buys for the Survivor Series pay-per-view. The buys are up from the 244,000 buys for the event in 2010 and 235,000 buys in 2009.
Powell's POV: WWE can celebrate the fact that the buys went up, but this has to be considered a disappointment for Rock's return to the ring. The company did a lousy job of promoting Rock's return and failed to make The Miz and R-Truth look like anything more than glorified punching bags for Rock and John Cena.
