A Dot Net reader who asked to go by the name of "Ricky Suave" (for confidentiality reasons - not to mention the name rocks) passed along the following notes regarding a recording session he participated in over the weekend in Los Angeles for the WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 video game.

I just went to a voiceover session for the new Smackdown vs. Raw game. Although I didn't see anything from the game, me and about 150 other people were recording the sound for the audience. It was real fun, and we did about eight pages of chants and stuff like that for the matches and wrestlers. I just figured I'd tell you some of the people that were cool that might end up being on the game due to some of the names we had to chant.

-Ricky Steamboat

-Possibly Bruiser Brody ("Bruise em up, Bruiser, Beat em up" was the chant, so I'm just assuming)

-Evan Bourne

-Vladimir Kozlov

-Trish Stratus

-"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase

-Dusty Rhodes

-Christian

-Jack Swagger

-Kofi Kingston

-Santina

-Goldust

-The Brian Kendrick

-Primo

-Carlito

-Macho Man ("Lets go Macho, Lets go" was the chant)

-Randy Orton

-MVP

-Maryse

-Big Show

-Matt Hardy

-Jeff Hardy

-John Cena

-Edge

-Chris Jericho

-Mike Knox

-Great Khali

-Ezekiel Jackson

Now of course, I still think Undertaker, HHH and HBK will be in the game, we just didn't do any chanting for them so I didn't put them on my list. The list is just the wrestlers they made us do chants for.

The guy who seemed to be running the whole thing was the guy who used to be the annoying ring announcer for Wrestling Society X. He ended up being a really nice guy, though. The indy wrestler Human Tornado was also there and got the crowd pumped up when we had to chant "Tornado" for the create a wrestler nicknames.

My friend and I got a picture with him too. He was also a really nice guy. All in all, a fun day that seemed to inform me on what's gonna be in the next Smackdown vs. Raw game.

Powell's POV: Although I can't verify the info regarding Savage or Ricky's speculation regarding Brody, he did pass along information that verified he took part in the recording session. It's always possible that WWE has a "Bruiser" character in the works or even Dick The Bruiser. I'm sure plenty of fans would be delighted to see Brody and/or Savage included in the next video game.
