WWE Smackdown rating: How did the show perform the week after the live special?

Friday's WWE Smackdown television show produced a 1.9 rating, which is up from the 1.77 rating the show drew back on August 26. The show averaged roughly 2.9 million viewers.

Powell's POV: I used the number from two weeks ago as a comparison since the previous week's show was a replay of the Tuesday live special. The live special drew a 2.2 on August 30, so the drop to just 1.9 on Friday is encouraging. This is the best number the company has produced since July 29. It's worth noting that WWE didn't face any NFL competition on Friday night for the first time since early August.
