WWE Smackdown rating: How did the show perform in the ratings for the first night on the Syfy network?

Friday's live edition of WWE Smackdown drew a 1.70 rating. It was the top cable show among males 18-34. The lead-in special replay of NXT with live cut-ins scored only a 0.6 rating in the hour leading up to the live show.

Powell's POV: That's not a great number for WWE, but Syfy should be pleased that the show did well above the ratings that NXT and ECW generated on Tuesdays. It will be interesting to see where the show rates in the weeks ahead.
