WWE Smackdown rating: How did the Memorial Day weekend edition perform?

Friday's WWE Smackdown television show drew a 1.84 rating, up from the 1.79 rating the show drew last week. Smackdown averaged 2.62 million viewers compared to the 2.8 million viewership averaged last week.

Powell's POV: The Memorial Day weekend show drew a 1.83 rating last year and was only down slightly from the 1.89 rating the previous week. Viewership was smaller and the rating went up compared to the week before, which shows that fewer people were watching television on Friday night. Nevertheless, this is a solid number for a holiday weekend show.
