WWE Smackdown rating: Friday's rating soars following the previous week's lousy number

Friday's WWE Smackdown scored a 2.18 rating, up from the 1.80 mark the show produced the previous week. Friday's show averaged 3.13 million viewers.

Powell's POV: WWE has to be happy to see that the big drop the show experienced on January 6 currently looks like an aberration. Smackdown topped the three million viewership average for the first time since December 9.
