WWE Smackdown rating: Did the show headlined by Sheamus vs. Randy Orton pop a rating heading into WWE Over The Limit?

Friday's WWE Smackdown drew a 1.79 rating, up from the 1.69 rating the show drew the previous week. Smackdown averaged 2.8 million viewers for Syfy.

Powell's POV: This was the third best rating the show has had in the last seven weeks. It's not a great rating compared to when WWE was topping a 2.0 rating regularly in January and early February, but it's worth another reminder that the show is going against the NBA playoffs. In fact, it ranked second in the Friday night ratings behind an NBA game.
