WWE Smackdown might go live some Fridays

WWE officials are considering the idea of airing Smackdown live on Friday nights when they have a pay-per-view event that weekend, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com. The move wouldn't take place until the show moves to MyNetworkTV this fall.

Powell's POV: I love this idea. I'm not sure how much it would help the show's rating since I don't think the average casual fan scours the internet for taping results on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, but selfishly I'm all for more live broadcasts rather than pre-taped events.
